I shot this at Peace Valley Park the day after a snowstorm (one of the 'early' ones this year). For such a simple shot, there's a bunch going on there. I like, I hope you do too. I was wrestling with monochrome for this, but I really like to color in the leaf.

Dario
I like it--very simple and well composed!
Nice picture and title. The 50mm is fun. Now I'm dreaming about a canon 5D Mark ii with a 17 55 2.8 lens or a 24-70mm f/2.8. I'll probably end up buying one of those lenses next. The 5D might take a while though.

Thank you for visiting Dario!

Do your homework on the 24-70, read lots of reviews and decide which features are most important. I was up in the air between that and the 24-105 and I bought the 105, primarily because the 24-70 doesn't have IS.
Marka, Solitude is a very good thing some times. I think that's why I like to photograph at parks. Of course, there's nothing like a good motorcycle ride for some quality solitude.
