I have a visitor
So I'm at work last Thursday afternoon, sitting at my desk and out of the corner of my eye, I see a lady bug crawling all over the place. Now mind you, it's February and we have two feet of snow on the ground and I can't imagine where a lady bug could have come from. It was constantly on the move, so getting a shot was tough. I finally had to resort to using the flash. I was about to have an afternoon snack, so I shared my banana with it and it seemed to enjoy it a lot.

Cool. It looks so big and I can even see the reflection from the flash.
I have NO idea what is up with lady bugs and the winter. I live in an finished attic style place and the ladybugs are EVERYWHERE. At least 1 a day.
I don't mind them tho, same with the spiders :)
Sometimes I just trap them in a glass and they become my subjects for my macro experiments.
Nice of you to share with it. Cool shot, I've never seen a ladybug (we call it a ladybird over here! ;-)) that colour before.
This is the second post I've seen on ladybugs this week. Maybe something is up??
