cold, hard steel

The Montgomery Square United Methodist Church is building a new church and I visited the site Memorial Day so I could safely walk around.  I thought this was interesting in monochrome.

Submitted for Monochrome Weekend, Vol 2 Issue 43.

Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM lens
Exposure 1/320 sec @ f11

Curves adjusted for contrast

Very interesting design ... I hope you post some pictures after the structure is finished ... I can't seem to wrap my brain around this one.

I do love the angles and shapes made by the metal though! It really is a great shot. I just can't picture it as a building!

It's a great shot, I wouldn't have known it was a church in the making.

Gosh...I haven't been by there since they started building. Great idea to use it for photos!

Very interesting and seemingly a popular style now.

What a cool shot and black and white was the perfect choice.
