Sheena

My wife planted these really cool daisy's, called echinacea or purple coneflowers.  I've been wanting to photograph and they were parked right next to the parsley (where the butterfly's lay their eggs), so I took a few shots with the macro lens.

I thought this resembled the hairdoo of a punk rocker, hence the name Sheena (as in Sheena is a Punk Rocker by the Ramones).

That is one amazing macro shot. And Sheena is definitely the perfect name for this beautiful flower!

During my time as a punk rocker from 1980 to 1986 I saw several people whos hair resembled this flower. Cool shot and what a great song. :)

The macro is fabulous -- and the name makes me smile. But I'm fascinated by your comment that butterflies lay their eggs in your parsley patch. What a lovely thing to know about. I'm fairly new to your blog, so maybe you've posted about that before. I'll jump back and look.
