End of the day
I shot this at Lake Galena near dusk this past summer. I wanted to save it for the dead of Winter, so we could all think about something else.
Most of the boats are retired for the day, the sun just setting behind the trees. Very Tranquil.

Wide Angle fun
Enough of this cold, snowy, dreary stuff! Here are two more shots from the west side of Grey Towers at Arcadia University late in the afternoon in November. I got in close to the building and took a shot looking up. Don't stand here during the rain, the gargoyle will get you!Canon EF 24-105mm L f4 IS USM lens

I swapped the standard zoom for a wide-angle and took this one.

Long Log
I found this really tall tree that had fallen down parallel to the bank of the Neshaminy Creek in Peace Valley Park. I positioned myself along the length of the tree and focused a few feet ahead.

Greenhouses
I shot some old greenhouses before, but I wanted to try again early in the day to try to catch the reflection of the sun off the glass. This particular morning was not the best, but I thought the colors looked worthy of a few shots. This is part of Weekend Reflections #16

Tall Tower
All this ice and snow is fun, but it's time for something different.
This is Murphy Hall at Arcadia University, shot from the courtyard. Murphy was one of the original building on the estate. It was originally a carriage house and has been transformed into more practical uses for the university.
I happen to really like the late day lighting and the *really* cool window. Yes, the clock keeps perfect time.

icy pattern
I was walking around Peace Valley park after we had several days of below freezing weather and came across a small amount of frozen water. I thought this was a cool pattern.
