Little Pink House

So I'm riding around the countryside of Buck County and come across this unusual pink house, in the middle of a corn field. It's rather small and in need of some repairs. What struck me as odd is that it was for sale.

Dear Wayne,

My first thought was that this picture needed something like a young girl sprawled out in the grassy foreground, alá Wyeth.

But this picture, which could be regarded as a study of man-made shapes competing with natural elements (which is the most obvious of interpretations,. but you must consider my limitations), made me think of the Adirondacks, where I have seen dated structures of this type before.

What made me wonder about this structure was the windows. The multi-paned one on the right has an almost industrial flair to it. I wondered iof the structure was built with materials at hand.

Forgive me for wandering.

That's a seriously unique, cool house, whereas what I have on my blog is seriously commonplace. LOL!
