Greenhouses

I shot some old greenhouses before, but I wanted to try again early in the day to try to catch the reflection of the sun off the glass.  This particular morning was not the best, but I thought the colors looked worthy of a few shots.  This is part of Weekend Reflections #16

Canon EF 24-105mm L f4 IS USM lens
(I have to admit that I REALLY love this lens)
Exposure 1/125sec @ f5.6
ISO 200

Exciting shot! And yes, the colours are looking good. Amazing how such an ugly building can look beautiful...

I think I would love your lens too. :) I borrowed 2 L lenses for 2 weeks...oh what fun I had.

Love the colors of the greenhouses.

Just noticed you are near me...I used to live in Chalfont on Skunk Hollow Road off of Limekiln until we moved to Maple Glen so my husband could commute into the city. I look forward to checking out your blog.

Great shot, the colors are awesome! These look just like some giant greenhouses down the road from me. I've been meaning to photgraph them again.

Nice reflections and a well composed documentary of aging neglect.

These green houses seem huge!
The colors are awesome and I can easily imagine that everytime you go they are different.

Love the patina on the panels. The middle section reminds me of a painting.
One wouldn't think an old greenhouse appealing but you've made it very likable.
Love the tower shot below.

What an amazing find and reflectively colorful beauty captured in this old derelict structure.

The colors are wonderful. I really like this shot, it really makes the eye move around. At first glance, the background greenhouse looks almost like stadium bleachers. Nice composition! Kathy

Oh this is perfect. The light mellows the stark industrial look.

Nice photo! I really like the colors and the angles.

My apologies for not commenting you back as regularly as I would have liked this past week or so... between starting my job full-time post-graduation and moving in with a relative much closer to my job, it's been a bit hectic. I appreciate every comment. Thanks!
