Wide Angle fun

Enough of this cold, snowy, dreary stuff!  Here are two more shots from the west side of Grey Towers at Arcadia University late in the afternoon in November. I got in close to the building and took a shot looking up. Don't stand here during the rain, the gargoyle will get you!

Canon EF 24-105mm L f4 IS USM lens
24mm Focal Length
Exposure 1/160 sec @ f5.6
ISO 100
Curves adjusted

I swapped the standard zoom for a wide-angle and took this one.

Canon EF-S 10-22 f3.5 - 4.5 USM lens
10mm Focal Length
Exposure 1/100 sec @ f5.6
ISO 100
Curves adjusted

It's so huge I'm going to faint...

Woody, if you don't mind, I put your blog's address to my other photoblog Seconds. OK! I don't hear anything so I guess we have a deal.

Both photos are good... though I'm a bit more partial to the first one as it's more focused on the brighter portion of the walls.

Great! Looking up makes me dizzy. I have a shot like that at the Wash Chapel at Valley Forge. I am thinking of heading over there on Saturday...

Perhaps one of the most successful captures of height I've seen!
