Sand Crab

In honor of Labor Day, I thought I'd post something I've been saving since our vacation. Some children found a crab at the water's edge at Rehoboth Beach. I snapped a shot before he burrowed back into the sand. Check it's right eye, I swear it was looking at me. It must have conversed with the seagull.

Good photo of a little critter that has a tendency to scurry away before most people have the chance to get a camera out. Actually, the On The Move picture was made in the evenings ambient light. I played with the contrast a bit to get a little more "pop" out of the scene, but that's about it.

The right claw also sees to be missing, it should have had a challenging bout with a seagull.
