Tower of power

First, my apologies for not visiting your blogs these last few days.  It's been extra hectic with my youngest son's lip sync contest and my oldest son's Junior Prom.

A cloudy cool day made for a boatload of interesting monochrome shots.  This is one of the towers that provide power to the local commuter trains.  I used black fill to darken the tower.

I can see how you came up with the title - the tower carries power to the system ... but it seems a source of power in its own right!

Very captivating photo!

Now all you need to do is ride a train! ;-)

Very effective, evoking its power. Whatever 'fill' means
technically, it works.

I know the hectic feeling. These past ten days or so were spent buying a new-to-me car, helping my Dad move my Aunt from one apartment to another in less than a week, working full-time, and coaching three nights a week. Hopefully both our schedules will slow down some. Cheers!

Great work, Woody... try running an "outline" filter on one of these and see what you get...
