Daisy's

Here's a series of daisy shots, all slightly different genus.

This is a form of a Gerber Daisy (my favorite).

Canon EF 100mm f2.8 USM Macro lens
Exposure 1/100 sec @ f8.0
ISO 640
Curves adjusted for contrast
Aperture Priority

I decided to get in as close as possible to the center of this daisy and get a shot of the pollen. I really like this one, both color and composition.

Good set of photos.
But if I had to choose one, I chose the last one.
;-)
I love the last one.

I like daisies. They make me smile. So beautiful, so plucky. So summer!
I've never seen one like that first one, though. I really like it!

I do like the dof on that last one, the color of the 22nd one and the fringyness of the 1st one. Nice presentation.

PS...I went window shopping for my next camera. I am thinking of the Canon 50 D. Going to sell my old flute and piccolo to make it happen. :)

Daisy is a simple but photogenic flower as you have proved here. The last one is my favourite, it's really beautiful and you have taken a lovely picture of it.
