Reflections of the eye

My wife spies this bee in one of her Pentas plants.  I think it was bedding down for the night (assuming bees do that sort of thing).  It spent time what appeared to be grooming itself, then found a spot and didn't move.  I must have taken 10 shots and this was one of the better ones.  You can see the reflection of the sun in it's eye, but if you look carefully, you can see reflections of other parts of the plant as well.

Wow. Very cool shot and I don't like bees at all.

You are talented indeed and this is a terrific capture! Had to look closely and I'm not that fond of bees, but it was worth the effort! Hope you have a great weekend!

Lovely blooms and reflections.

A dynamic macro! The blast of bright red colouring makes a wonderful contrast with the darkness of the bee!

You would be very surprised at the habits of insects... they aren't really so different from us after all. I've learned this by pursuing them for the last five years with my camera.
