wet grass

Here on the East coast of the US, we normally get more than a few foggy mornings that result in a nice dew covering.  This year has been remarkably 'dry', so I jumped at the opportunity one morning when saw some dew had formed on the ornamental grasses in our back yard.  I took two shots and after looking at them in the display, I came to the conclusion that they sucked and I should delete them.  Thankfully, I didn't and I think they came out way better than I expected.

The only difference is the bottom one has the aperture opened one full stop.

Pretty interesting reflections in the drops on top.

I like this one the best.  The appearance of larger drops outward from the focal point are really cool.

Oh I really like the second one. I wish we had water falling and dew forming!

Amazing what aperture can do for a photograph, eh? Cheers!

Nice to see the big difference in these shots. (I like the first one more - thanks to those little drops.)

I love how you have captured such tiny beauty! I enlarged the photos, and this is true art!

PS I put a McLinky to your caterpillar post on Guest Heart Thursday - hope you don't mind!
